Though my spirit doth harrow from what I shall ensue,
I shall meekly and with intent explore,
The famed Venetian casino in Las Vegas,
The joy it imparts shall here be yet more.

In this realm of dreaming and mischief so fell,
The entranceway a portent of what lies ahead,
Riches that beguile and fascinate as they swell
A palace of gilded finery so dread.

Above my head a sculpture of stars doth shine,
Twinkling ever so slightly in their grandeur,
From far and wide, they are a beacon divine,
Standing beauteously abovest the hall floor.

Thrilling multitudes of neon in hue,
Grandiose pillars stretching skyward to eye,
Vibrant lanterns garland the walls around me, too,
Radiating a mysterious majesty.

The scent of comfort and ease accompany,
The comforts of life and joy ‘neath the dome,
It invokes not a worry but peace through me,
Pleading to stay as I hath never known.

Adorned in papal silken fineries all around,
Thrones of regal power and elegance doth stand,
For the all who strives to witness these lavish mounds,
Tis a treat to sup of this célèbre grand.

Onward I must voyage to see sides beyond,
Four grand sections conferring a fearsome sight,
Their ornamentation enchanting and fond,
No corner left empty for tis the centre of night.

Opposite the entrance where I first did appear,
Lieth a great fountain through which sparkle the stars,
The ambience here doeth transfix me with sheer,
Letting me know this be where I truly belongs.

For a pleasure so pure I hast been seeking,
Seated booths of delicious cuisines abound,
Elegant eateries of various cooking,
Of tasty treats aplenty for the mouth to abscond.

Tis a destination for the playful lads,
Boasting a collection with nothing overlooked,
Roulette, Slot Machines and noxious fads,
Uplifting the days of those my heart did provoke.

It doth command to acquiesce the wistful quest,
Praying for boundless glee and contentment,
Else ’tis a pleasure that warder may detest,
As they ’ere no better pleasure to ever invent.

As reality puts a cap on the day,
The tumult and tumult that uproarly ensue,
The fountain nearby beckons me to stay,
In awe of its splendour, I must attest is most true.

The crowds far away, though their laughter does aplenty,
The sight of so grand a sight overriding the sound,
Gladly, heartily I must hold them all in company,
My soul refreshed and body soothed sound.

Though tis hour for I to take my leave,
I must admit regret of having to go,
For the bliss that hath been, I know I must bequeath,
To spend but a night at the Venetian here in Las Vegas no.

This realm of fantasy and dreams,
I must return, having tasted such frills,
To gather hopelessly in joyful screams,
As all make haste to meet up in such thrills.
